What to Preserve

  • Size Specifications:  For Community Participation, each item must not exceed dimensions of 25 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm to fit within the standard compartment spaces. In contrast, for TimeVault contributions, the size and number of items are limited only by the physical dimensions of the chosen TimeVault model, which is designed to accommodate items tailored to its specific volume and capacity.
  • Condition: Items should be stable enough to last over a century without significant deterioration. They should not contain organic materials prone to decay and should be devoid of any active electronic or mechanical components.
  • Perishable Materials: Items such as food, plants, or other biodegradable materials are not accepted.
  • Hazardous Materials: Avoid anything toxic, flammable, or radioactive, including batteries and certain chemicals.
  • Oversized Items: Any item exceeding the preset dimensions will be rejected.
  • Digital Storage Devices: Due to the risk of technological obsolescence, USB drives, CDs, and similar media are not accepted.
